Support Three Jewels Tucson:

Path of Realizations I

Path of Realizations I is the first in a series of nine courses designed to lead participants from an awareness of their everyday habits to reaching their fullest potentials as realized spiritual beings. The historical Buddha provided step-by-step instructions and meditations for developing ourselves as happy, compassionate, pure beings. This is not brought about by simply wishing it so nor willing it but by applying a concentrated effort to deeply understand our predicament as living beings and using the antidotes available to repair our condition.

We will also look at practical methods for dealing with our most damaging emotions such as anxiety, anger, addiction and jealousy.

Getting Caught Up:

To attend, you should "catch up" to the rest of the class, so we invite you to listen to classes 1 & 2 at the following link:

https://www.dmes.org/contact/dmes/course/224/.

These were taught at Diamond Mountain University during the spring term of 2007 and comprise the first class taught at Three Jewels.

Classes 2, 3 & 4 taught at Three Jewels are available as audio downloads. Also available are the class readings and homework which must be completed before in-person attendance.

We look forward to seeing you at Three Jewels at this rare and special teaching. Trisangma and Peter Watson are teaching this Lam Rim in a truly accessible and applicable manner. The class combines the lineage and scriptural knowledge with practical meditation designed to engage the mind directly with the steps of the path. This is a very experiential Lam Rim teaching.
