Ven. Phil Baker (Lobsang Konchok)


Venerable Phil is a fully-ordained Buddhist monk living near Diamond Mountain University, in Bowie, AZ. He has been studying and practicing Buddhism for 13 years, and has been ordained for 8 years. He attended the seven-year Buddhist Masters Program in Pomaia, Italy, where he studied the five great books that are studied in the Tibetan Buddhist monasteries in India. In the Summer of 2006 completed a one-month teaching tour in Peru.

Prior to becoming a monk, Ven. Phil had his own software consulting firm.

Ven. Lobsang Nyima (David Sykes)


Ven. Lobsang Nyima has been a student of Khen Rinpoche Lobsang Tharchin and Geshe Michael Roach since 1994. He studied logic at Sera Mey Monastery in 1995 and vinaya (monastic vows) with Gyalrong Khensur Rinpoche, a former abbot of Sera Mey. He is a fully ordained monk. Ven. Nyima is a very popular teacher and is very skilled in interpreting the teachings in an everyday context. His website.

Allison and Jim Dey


Allison and Jim Dey have taught 22 ACI and Diamond Mountain University courses in Tucson since June 2004. Students of Tibetan Buddhism since 1997, they have attended teachings given by His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama, Khen Rinpoche Lobsang Tharchin, Kyabje Lama Zopa Rinpoche, Kyabje Ribur Rinpoche, Lati Rinpoche, Segyu Choepel Rinpoche, and currently study with Geshe Michael Roach and Christie McNally at Diamond Mountain University, Bowie, AZ.
